amd is a $2,000 stock [FnNXafW09eM]

The market keeps arguing about whether AMD is winning in CPUs or losing in GPUs, but that's the wrong frame entirely. AMD is neither of its verticals: it's a platform. A personalised compute printer that can mix and match compute engines at will and produce whatever workload the market demands next, at marginal cost. I walk through how the chiplet platform became a moat Intel couldn't cross, why CPUs were just the first vertical instance (with AI GPUs and FPGAs lining up behind them), and where the real upside lives — in the exponential demand AI is about to create for workloads nobody can predict yet. The whole thing is fractal: every vertical verticalises further, with no logical end. That's why I think free cash flow per share rises by an order of magnitude or two over the next 5–10 years, and why today's financials are an appetiser, not the meal. This is the Q1 2026 earnings digest and an update to my original AMD deep dive.
