The two 10-year-olds and an 11-year-old girl, the dead boy's sister, entered the water at the Dundee Island Park boat launch. It wasn't clear whether they went in by accident or by choice. Passaic Mayor Hector Lora says the boy who died may have saved his sister's life, pushing her as he went under to some nearby rocks. She was able to climb out. Investigators searched the water for hours Wednesday to no avail. They resumed their search around 9 a.m., with state troopers on boats and divers in the water.
